Drop in as many PDFs as you like and every page of every file appears as a thumbnail in one grid. The grid is the document: drag a page and it lands where you dropped it, whether it came from the first file or the last. Merging two files and then pulling three pages of the second into the middle of the first is the same gesture as merging them in order.
Files arrive in whatever order the picker felt like, so a set of scans called report-1 through report-10 can land with 10 in the middle. Sort by name puts them back in the order their names imply, counting numerically, and from there any page can still be dragged anywhere.
Pages keep whatever rotation they already had, and anything you rotate here is written into the output rather than stored as a viewing hint — so the merged file opens the same way in every reader. Files with hundreds of pages stay responsive because thumbnails are drawn only for the pages you have scrolled to.

Questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
No fixed limit. The work happens in your browser, so the ceiling is your machine's memory rather than a plan tier. Several hundred pages is comfortable on an ordinary laptop.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read, rearranged and written entirely inside the tab. Nothing is sent to a server, which is also why merging works with no account and no connection once the page has loaded.
Can I merge only some pages of each file?
Yes. Drop everything in, then remove the pages you do not want. What remains, in the order shown, is what gets written.
